The ideal candidate will assistin performing bookkeeping, daily reconciliations, and various financialoperations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records andtransactions. Please apply via the link below if you areinterested.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable & Vendor ManagementOversee the end-to-end accountspayable process including invoice processing, approvals, and paymentsDrive automation and efficiency in APprocesses, including integration with ERP/Payment systems.Build strong relationships with vendors and resolve queries in atimely manner. Address and resolve any vendor payment relatedissues.Ensure adherence to payment timelinesand optimize working capital.Perform creditor analysisand ageing on a periodic basis.Partner Settlements & PaymentFlowsManage settlement cycles with partners (e.g.,banks, payment processors, remittance partners, distributors)Oversee reconciliation of wallet balances,nodal/safeguarding accounts, and partner statementsEnsure timely settlement of funds with partners inline with contractual and regulatory requirementsInvestigate and resolve settlement breaks, delays,and discrepanciesWork closely with product and operations teams to improve settlement logic and reduce manual interventionReconciliations, GL Control & SafeguardingOwn daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliationsacross:Wallet balances vs. ledgerBank / nodal / safeguarding accountsEnsure complete and accurate recording of allfinancial transactions in the GLMaintain strong substantiation of all balance sheetaccounts with audit-ready documentationStrengthen controls around safeguarding of customerfunds and regulatory complianceIdentify risks and implement corrective controls infinancial operationsMonth-end CloseLead finance operations close activities, ensuringaccurate and timely book closureReview and post journals including accruals,provisions, and settlement adjustmentsPartner with FP&A and controllership teams toensure completeness of revenue, cost, and balancesContinuously improve close timelines and reducemanual dependencies.Process Improvement, Automation& ControlsIdentify opportunities to automate reconciliationsand settlement workflowsWork with product/engineering teams on systemenhancements and integrationsDrive implementation of scalable processes tosupport business growthEnsure adherence to internal controls, auditrequirements, and regulatory guidelinesSupport internal and external audits, includingregulator-facing requirementsGeneral Financial OperationsCollaboratewith other departments, including operations, to resolve financial issues anddiscrepancies.Assist inmaintaining financial systems and platforms, ensuring accurate data entry andsystem functionality.Attentionto Detail: Ensuringaccuracy in all financial records and reconciliations.OrganizationalSkills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multipleresponsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, whilealso being able to handle tasks independently.Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new financialsystems, tools, and regulations as the fintech landscape evolves.What You’ll NeedBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.5-6 years of experience in accounting andfinancial operations. Experience in fintech or regulated industry ispreferred. Preferably with technical accounting experience.Strongattention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret financialdata accurately.Goodwritten and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explainfinancial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.Abilityto identify issues in financial data and propose practical solutions.Exhibits business judgment, strong analytical,coordination, and decision-making skillsStrong working knowledge of accounting principles,procedures and internal controls.Proficiency in accounting software (Dynamics 365Business Central), Microsoft Excel and reporting tools likePower BI and Tableau .AtmyZoi we strive to create both a product and a team that embraces equality,inclusion, diversity and freedom.
