This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Aldar family of schools and help shape the future of Abu Dhabi’s leading school group.ResponsibilitiesBilling, collection, liaising with customers to collect receivablesEnsure timely collection and reduce bad debtRespond to parents’ requirements and inquiries relating to fee paymentManage the collection process including reminders and warningsFollow up on late payments and returned chequesProvide a student list with outstanding fees to the School and HQ Credit Control team for decision‑making and expedite collectionsStrategic ResponsibilitiesTimely and accurate billing, collection and reduction of bad debtFunctional ResponsibilitiesDeliver high‑quality customer service for the schoolProduce timely billing for all receivables such as tuition fees, exam fees, ECA, trips, etc.Issue receipts daily with accurate information (bank reference, date, etc.) and update reasons for unidentified transactions; share with school accountants for bank reconciliationEnsure reminder and warning letters are sent with guidance from HQ Credit Control teamPerform sales validation and reconcile student numbers with admission teamImprove collections and reduce bad debt below 0.25%Close the AR module on time in line with the closing calendarAccurate and timely reporting of AR reports for decision‑makingReconcile accounts receivable between Education and ERP systems, identify gaps and resolve in coordination with IT teamEnsure enrolment processes comply with policies and proceduresValidate refund requests from the school and initiate payments through the AR module; hand over documents to the School Accountant for paymentProvide finance clearance for leavers and internal transfers after due diligence checks and validationPerform month‑end activities in a timely mannerSupport the HQ Credit Control team on ad hoc matters as requiredAssist with internal and external audit queries, provide supporting documents and resolve all query within the timelineInitiate process improvement to achieve finance excellenceSupport digitalisation of billing and collection projects as requiredImprove customer experience by responding to emails and calls professionallyAttend weekly AR review meetings with the team and provide insights for decision‑makingPrepare suspension list with appropriate comments and share with the school PrincipalSend finance fee follow‑up letters in a timely manner in compliance with ADEK regulationQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s DegreeMinimum Experience2–3 years experience in a similar roleJob Specific Knowledge & SkillsFluent English communication skills, written and oral.
