Job Description

Finance OfficerResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting and other assigned activities.Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment management.Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Assist in preparing financial models for forecasting and decision-making.Assist in annual budgeting process.Monitor budget variances and report on significant variances.Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.Prepare and submit VAT, corporate tax and annual ESR notifications.Manage and optimize financial systems and processes.Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in financial operations.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial perspective on operational issues.Coordinate with other departments as required and ensure that relevant departments are kept informed of pertinent updates.QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (ACCA Finalist, CMA) preferred.Strong knowledge of financial regulations and International Financial reporting standards (IFRS).Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
