This role offers full ownership of accounting and reporting for key legal entities (starting with UAE and New Zealand) while working closely with Global HQ in Switzerland.ResponsibilitiesOwn end‑to‑end accounting (GL, Fixed Assets, Cash, AR) and lead the month‑end close processDeliver accurate and timely monthly financial reporting to Global HQManage statutory accounts and local compliance in the UAE, including VAT and Corporate TaxAct as the key contact for external auditors and tax advisorsEnsure compliance with internal control frameworks and support process improvementsCollaborate closely with Global Shared Services (AP) and Global TreasuryHandle intercompany transactions, FX topics, and multi‑entity reportingLead, coach, and develop 1 accountantQualifications, experiences and skillsACCA / CPA / CA preferred5–10 (up to 12) years of relevant experienceStrong IFRS knowledge and reporting experienceSolid UAE VAT compliance experience (Corporate Tax exposure is a plus)Experience in multinational environments (intercompany, FX, matrix organizations, SSC)Background in Big 4 audit or finance leadership in an international SME is advantageousFirst experience in line management preferredSkillsStrong ownership mindset with ability to work autonomouslyExperience with multi‑entity structures and audit coordinationProficient in MS Office, SAP; OneStream is a plusAdditional European languages are a plusFor more information, please visit Swissport International AG - Executive Aviation and stay tuned for further updates as our website becomes available at www.privatport.chThis job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent.
