Finance Manager

The company operates within a technical, production-oriented environment and supports both local and regional customers with specialised products and solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the monthly closing process for the Dubai operationsOversee all accounting transactions including journals, accruals, payments and reconciliationsPrepare accurate financial statements and internal management reportsEnsure proper maintenance of the general ledger and accounting recordsManage payroll processing and ensure compliance with UAE labour and statutory requirementsReview and approve balance sheet reconciliations including bank, vendors, customers and intercompany accountsCoordinate directly with external auditors and manage audit preparation and documentationSupport annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cyclesMonitor financial performance and highlight variances to managementEnsure adherence to accounting standards and internal control policiesOversee VAT compliance and filing requirements within the UAESupervise and mentor the finance team of five accountants, ensuring clarity of responsibilities and strong performance managementDrive continuous improvement initiatives within finance processes and reportingProvide operational support to the manufacturing site on cost related and transactional mattersWork closely with cross functional teams including operations, procurement and leadership to support business decision makingQualificationsProfessional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA or CMA (mandatory)Minimum of 7 years accounting or finance experienceExperience managing a team within a finance functionStrong month end closing and financial reporting experienceSolid knowledge of accounting transactions and reconciliationsExperience working in the UAE and currently based in the UAEExperience liaising with external auditorsStrong Excel and accounting systems skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
