This is a genuine opportunity to make impact - and leave real legacy.Buro Happold is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Jeddah office.Reporting to the KSA Head of Finance, you will take ownership of end to end finance activities for a key client entity and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. This is a hands on role requiring strong technical expertise, sound judgement, and confidence working closely with senior stakeholders.You will be part of a wider regional finance team, contributing to robust governance, strong compliance, and high quality financial insight that supports effective decision making.A Saudi National candidate is strongly preferred for this position.Financial Operations & ControlManage day‑to‑day finance operations including payables, receivables, general ledger, cash management, and month‑end closeEnsure accurate accounting records in line with IFRS as adopted in KSAMaintain strong internal controls, documentation, and audit trailsTax, Compliance & Statutory ReportingRegister, activate, and maintain all relevant KSA tax and e‑invoicing portals (including ZATCA, Etimad, and related systems)Prepare, review, and submit VAT and WHT returns in line with statutory deadlinesSupport Corporate Income Tax filings and ongoing compliance mattersPrepare statutory financial statements and manage the external audit processInvoicing, Cash & Project SupportIssue client invoices in full compliance with KSA e‑invoicing regulations, including tracking and submissionMonitor bank accounts, cashflow, and accounting entriesSupport project teams with revenue recognition, cost tracking, budgeting, and forecastingLiaise closely with project controls and commercial teams to ensure financial accuracyReporting & Stakeholder ManagementPrepare periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders and senior leadershipAct as a key contact for auditors, advisors, and partner finance teamsLiaise with BH KSA Finance for consolidation and reporting requirementsManage finance‑related matters for the Jeddah office as requiredYour skills and experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceProfessional qualification preferred: SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA5+ years’ finance experience in Saudi Arabia, with hands on exposure to ZATCA VAT/WHT and KSA e invoicing portalsProven experience across payables, receivables, general ledger, month end close, cash management, and statutory reportingExperience preparing audited financial statements and working with external auditorsExposure to professional services, engineering, construction, or similar project based environmentsStrong systems experience (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics); Power BI an advantageAdvanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and EnglishStrong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work confidently with senior leadershipHighly organised, able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and deliver to tight deadlinesStyle & behavioursTake ownership and make timely, well judged decisionsPrioritise effectively and manage expectations with multiple stakeholdersCollaborate across finance and non finance teams on cross functional initiativesDeliver clear, accurate reports and presentations to a high professional standardStay current on KSA tax and regulatory changes and apply best practiceProactively strengthen digital and data capabilities and support continuous improvementWhat we offer youBring your knowledge and expertise to one of the world’s most respected consultancies.Hybrid working arrangementsAttractive salary and benefits packageA strong commitment to your continuous development.
