This is a genuine opportunity to make impact - and leave real legacy.</p><p>Buro Happold is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Jeddah office.</p><p>Reporting to the KSA Head of Finance, you will take ownership of end-to-end finance activities for a key client entity and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. This is a hands on role requiring strong technical expertise, sound judgement, and confidence working closely with senior stakeholders.</p><p>You will be part of a wider regional finance team, contributing to robust governance, strong compliance, and high quality financial insight that supports effective decision making.</p><p>A Saudi National candidate is strongly preferred for this position.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><h3>Financial Operations&Control</h3><ul><li>Manage day‑to‑day finance operations including payables, receivables, general ledger, cash management, and month‑end close</li><li>Ensure accurate accounting records in line with IFRS as adopted in KSA</li><li>Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and audit trails</li></ul><h3>Tax, Compliance&Statutory Reporting</h3><ul><li>Register, activate, and maintain all relevant KSA tax and e‑invoicing portals (including ZATCA, Etimad, and related systems)</li><li>Prepare, review, and submit VAT and WHT returns in line with statutory deadlines</li><li>Support Corporate Income Tax filings and ongoing compliance matters</li><li>Prepare statutory financial statements and manage the external audit process</li></ul><h3>Invoicing, Cash&Project Support</h3><ul><li>Issue client invoices in full compliance with KSA e‑invoicing regulations, including tracking and submission</li><li>Monitor bank accounts, cashflow, and accounting entries</li><li>Support project teams with revenue recognition, cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting</li><li>Liaise closely with project controls and commercial teams to ensure financial accuracy</li></ul><h3>Reporting&Stakeholder Management</h3><ul><li>Prepare periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders and senior leadership</li><li>Act as a key contact for auditors, advisors, and partner finance teams</li><li>Liaise with BH KSA Finance for consolidation and reporting requirements</li><li>Manage finance‑related matters for the Jeddah office as required</li></ul><h3>Your Skills And Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance</li><li>Professional qualification preferred: SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA</li><li>5+ years’ finance experience in Saudi Arabia, with hands on exposure to ZATCA VAT/WHT and KSA e invoicing portals</li><li>Proven experience across payables, receivables, general ledger, month end close, cash management, and statutory reporting</li><li>Experience preparing audited financial statements and working with external auditors</li><li>Exposure to professional services, engineering, construction, or similar project based environments</li><li>Strong systems experience (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics); Power BI an advantage</li><li>Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work confidently with senior leadership</li><li>Highly organised, able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and deliver to tight deadlines</li></ul><h3>Style&behaviours</h3><ul><li>Take ownership and make timely, well judged decisions</li><li>Prioritise effectively and manage expectations with multiple stakeholders</li><li>Collaborate across finance and non finance teams on cross functional initiatives</li><li>Deliver clear, accurate reports and presentations to a high professional standard</li><li>Stay current on KSA tax and regulatory changes and apply best practice</li><li>Proactively strengthen digital and data capabilities and support continuous improvement</li></ul><h3>What We Offer You</h3><p>Bring your knowledge and expertise to one of the world’s most respected consultancies.</p><ul><li>Hybrid working arrangements</li><li>Attractive salary and benefits package</li>
