Finance Manager – Arts & Culture Sector, Doha

We’re looking for a Finance Manager to support the launch and ongoing operations of Art Basel in Qatar. We need a finance professional with a passion for precision and a flair for international business. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial management of one of the world’s premier art fair brands in a dynamic new market. This role reports to Group CFO, the HQ Finance Team and the Art Basel General Manager. This role requires a detail‑oriented finance leader to help bring Art Basel’s vision to life in Qatar.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily financial operations with strong internal controls and real‑time oversightEnsure compliance in contracts, invoicing, procurement, tax, and financial reportingAct as the local liaison for banking, insurance, and regulatory bodies including QFC and auditorsSupport risk management, compliance, and alignment with global financial policiesManage local bookkeeping and prepare accurate financial reports for local and HQ stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldCPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (preferred)5+ years of finance experience, ideally within QatarStrong knowledge of QFC regulations and local banking landscapeExperience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsExceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and high integrityAbility to work under pressure and adapt to shifting prioritiesFluent in English; Arabic is a plusSustainability is a pressing issue for art fairs and the art world at large.
