Finance Manager - Arts & Culture Sector, Doha

We're looking for a Finance Manager to support the launch and ongoing operations of Art Basel in Qatar. We need a finance professional with a passion for precision and a flair for international business. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial management of one of the world's premier art fair brands in a dynamic new market. This role reports to Group CFO, the HQ Finance Team and the Art Basel General Manager. This role requires a detail oriented finance leader to help bring Art Basel's vision to life in Qatar. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily financial operations with strong internal controls and real time oversight Ensure compliance in contracts, invoicing, procurement, tax, and financial reporting Act as the local liaison for banking, insurance, and regulatory bodies including QFC and auditors Support risk management, compliance, and alignment with global financial policies Manage local bookkeeping and prepare accurate financial reports for local and HQ stakeholders What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (preferred) 5+ years of finance experience, ideally within Qatar Strong knowledge of QFC regulations and local banking landscape Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and high integrity Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus Sustainability is a pressing issue for art fairs and the art world at large.
