This role is critical in driving financial planning, project cost control, reporting, and compliance, while supporting both operational execution and strategic decision-making.</p><p>Proven experience in large-scale road works, highways, and public-sector infrastructure projects is essential.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><h3>Project Financial Management</h3><ul><li>Develop, monitor, and control project-specific budgets for road and infrastructure projects</li><li>Track project costs, commitments, variations, and cost-to-complete on a real-time basis</li><li>Manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and project cash flow projections</li><li>Ensure accurate cost allocation for materials, labor, plant, and equipment</li></ul><h3>Budgeting&Forecasting</h3><ul><li>Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes</li><li>Prepare detailed financial forecasts aligned with project schedules and milestones</li><li>Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to mitigate cost overruns</li></ul><h3>Contract&Payment Oversight</h3><ul><li>Oversee payment certifications, subcontractor billing, and client invoicing, including Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs)</li><li>Ensure complete and accurate financial documentation for variations, claims, and change orders</li></ul><h3>Compliance&Reporting</h3><ul><li>Ensure full compliance with IFRS, internal financial policies, and industry regulations</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders</li><li>Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required</li></ul><h3>Required Skills&Qualifications</h3><h3>Education&Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field</li><li>MBA, CPA, or CA qualification is highly preferred</li><li>5–10 years of financial management experience within infrastructure or road construction projects</li></ul><h3>Technical&Professional Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong expertise in BOQ-based costing and public infrastructure project accounting</li><li>Experience with government-funded or PPP projects is highly desirable</li><li>Proficiency in ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage 300, or similar)</li><li>Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills</li><li>In-depth understanding of construction cost control and project accounting</li></ul><h3>Soft Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines</li><li>High level of accuracy, integrity, and commercial awareness</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
