Finance Controller

Reports to: CEO / COO and Board of DirectorsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a high-caliber Finance Controller to lead our finance function during an exciting phase of rapid growth and operational scale‑up. This is not just a reporting role — it is a strategic leadership position at the heart of the business.You will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, improving unit economics, strengthening controls, and building the infrastructure needed to support multiple cloud kitchen brands and traditional F&B outlets. You will also lead a diverse team, including an offshore shared services function, while partnering closely with leadership on fundraising, treasury, and board‑level decision‑making.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial LeadershipLead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activitiesDrive the transition from growth‑led expansion to sustainable profitabilityAnalyze and optimize key business drivers including COGS, wastage, labor efficiency, and delivery platform marginsProvide commercial insights and financial recommendations to senior leadership and the boardSupport equity and debt fundraising initiatives across upcoming growth stagesPrepare financial materials including investor presentations, financial models, and data room documentationCoordinate and lead financial due diligence processes with investors, lenders, and advisorsEnsure the company remains financially disciplined and investment‑ready at all timesTreasury & Cash ManagementManage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital across multiple entitiesOversee treasury operations, including capital allocation, cash forecasting, and banking relationshipsMonitor FX exposure and implement controls to manage foreign exchange riskMaintain financial resilience and ensure sufficient runway to support growth plansFinancial Operations & ControlsLead and mentor the in‑house finance team while overseeing offshore accounting, AP, and AR operationsStrengthen internal controls, governance, and financial processes across the organizationImprove the speed, accuracy, and scalability of financial reportingOwn the month‑end close process and ensure timely delivery of management accountsSystems & Process AutomationImplement or optimize ERP and finance systems such as NetSuite or Microsoft DynamicsIntegrate POS and operational data into financial reporting for stronger decision supportDrive automation across reporting, approvals, reconciliations, and treasury workflowsBuild a scalable finance infrastructure that supports multi‑brand, multi‑entity growthWhat We’re Looking ForQualificationsMust hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualification8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibilityStrong experience within F&B, hospitality, food‑tech, or cloud kitchen environmentsDeep understanding of inventory management, margin optimization, and aggregator commission structuresProven experience in a fast‑paced, investor‑backed or high‑growth business environmentExperience managing offshore teams or shared services functions is highly preferredAdvanced financial modelling capability and familiarity with treasury and finance automation toolsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present to the boardPreferred ExperienceMulti‑entity or regional finance experienceExposure to fundraising, due diligence, and investor reportingERP implementation or finance transformation experienceStrong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth and controlWhat Success Looks LikeImprove budget accuracy and maintain tight control over spendStrengthen cash visibility and runway management across the businessAccelerate month‑end close and improve reporting accuracyOptimize prime cost, contribution margins, and platform economicsBuild a high‑performing finance function across both local and offshore teamsSupport the business in becoming fully investment‑ready for future fundraising roundsWhy Join Us?Opportunity to shape the financial backbone of a fast‑growing, disruptive food‑tech businessDirect exposure to the CEO, COO, and Board of DirectorsHigh‑impact role with strategic influence across the companyDynamic environment with the chance to build, improve, and lead at scaleCompetitive compensation, performance incentives, and long‑term growth opportunity#J-18808-Ljbffr
