You will act as a Field Service Engineer for Measurement & Analytics, specializing in analytical products such as Gas Chromatographs and FTIR systems, ensuring high customer satisfaction and driving service business growth. Each day, you will plan and execute work with a first-time-right approach while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and ownership in your responsibilities.The work model for the role is: #onsite #onsite-LiThis position directly reports to the Service Manager in Dubai and it is contributing to the Measurement & Analytics Business Line in the UAE region. Main stakeholders are customers, sales teams, factory teams, subcontractors, and regional/global service units.Key responsibilities:Executing commissioning, AMC, troubleshooting, shutdown, and emergency maintenance activities at customer sitesIdentifying technical issues and performing root cause analysis for analytical instruments including GC and FTIR systemsPreparing material lists and ensuring availability of required parts, tools, and equipment before service executionTroubleshooting equipment and process failures while recommending corrective and preventive actionsEngaging with customers on-site to improve operations, eliminate pain points, and ensure high satisfaction levelsCoordinating with factory teams, subcontractors, and regional/global service units for technical supportSupporting sales by identifying service opportunities and contributing to service offer preparationConducting training sessions for customers and channel partners on analytical products and systemsPlanning and scheduling service activities efficiently to meet deadlines and optimize operational performanceYou will join a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing team, where you will be able to thrive and contribute to continuous improvement and customer success.Qualifications:You are highly skilled in analytical instrumentation tools and methodologies and the industrial measurement & analytics marketYou have at least 7 years of experience in analytical services (experience with GC, FTIR, and analyzer systems preferred)Field Service Engineer experience, particularly in the UAE or Middle East region is an advantageYou are highly adept in analyzer software and ABB analytical product platforms (nice to have)You are passionate about customer satisfaction and proactive problem-solving with a strong sense of ownershipDegree / Diploma in Instrumentation EngineeringYou are at ease communicating in EnglishYou are willing to travel regionally and globally as requiredWhat's in it for you?We empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence.
