Join us to develop and commercialize technologies that unleash the power of genomics at scale and empower the future of human health.We are looking for a highly motivated Field Service Engineer II currently located in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates to join our team!How Youll ContributeProvide on-site services to one primary account and other customer sites as needed. On-site services include the repair and installation of company instrumentation the operation of instruments when needed and the management of lab inventoriesReview technical reports and documents from customers. Analyze issues with technical staff to find root cause and communicate next steps and timelines to customersMaintain records of tool configurations pertaining to hardware software consumables and application releasesManage customer interface with research and development groups. Maintain a working relationship with customers and instill confidence and credibility in our company and productExceed customer expectations of service support and the productSummarize and communicate issues to development engineers for triage and participate in root cause analysis investigationsOther job duties as assignedQualifications Skills Knowledge & AbilitiesBS in scientific or engineeringfield2-5 years of relevant engineering or field service experience. Preferred in biotech or capital equipment industryExperience in electro-mechanical assembly server installations and instrumentation troubleshootingSkilled at interpreting technical documentation and schematics (electrical wiring fluidic and mechanical drawings)Talented at building prototypes from preliminary drawings and schematicsAbility to work independently and in a group; good people skillsMeticulous detail oriented and excellent organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written English communication skills are requiredMotivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hard-working and multidisciplinary teamMust be eligible and willing to travel in UAE and internationally including to the USA for training and meetings in head office.
