FIELD PIPING ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced Field Piping Engineer to support the execution and coordination of all piping activities on-site. The role involves close collaboration with the design team construction contractors and project stakeholders to ensure the piping systems are installed according to specifications drawings and standards. The engineer will provide technical support in the field resolve interface issues and ensure safety and quality compliance throughout the construction phase.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the site technical authority for all field piping-related issues ensuring work is carried out in accordance with Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and project specifications.Review piping design documents including isometrics P&IDs general arrangement drawings support drawings and material specifications.Supervise and monitor the installation of:Process and utility piping systemsAboveground and underground pipingHigh-pressure and critical service linesPipe supports valves and inline componentsCoordinate resolution of technical queries (TQs) site modifications and field design changes.Interface with engineering procurement and construction teams to ensure correct materials and drawings are available at site.Support material take-off (MTO) verification pipe fit-up welding NDT and pressure testing.Oversee compliance with ASME API ANSI and other relevant piping codes and standards.Assist QA/QC with inspection activities hydrotesting and walk-downs.Track installation progress and support system completion punch list clearance and handover to commissioning.Review and approve red-line markups and ensure as-built documentation is accurately updated.KEY QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering (or equivalent).5-10 years of experience as a Field Piping Engineer in the Oil & Gas Refinery or Petrochemical sector.Strong understanding of:Piping construction and erection practicesPipe welding (SMAW GTAW etc.) and associated testing proceduresPiping layout and isometric interpretationFamiliarity with ASME B31.3 ASME B31.1 API ANSI and applicable international standards.Experience with piping supports pipe stress considerations and expansion loops is a plus.Proficient in AutoCAD Navisworks and MS Office tools.Strong communication coordination and problem-solving skills.VERTICAL ENGINEERING#J-18808-Ljbffr
