FIELD PIPELINE ENGINEER

<div><p>We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipeline Field Engineer to coordinate and support the construction and installation of onshore/offshore pipelines. The role involves ensuring proper implementation of pipeline design managing field technical issues and acting as a liaison between design procurement and construction teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of pipeline systems field construction processes and international pipeline standards.</p><h3>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul><li>Act as the site technical focal point for pipeline engineering and construction activities.</li><li>Interpret and implement Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings alignment sheets isometrics material take-offs (MTOs) and specifications.</li><li>Monitor and supervise field installation of:<ul><li>Cross-country pipelines / flowlines / trunklines</li><li>Pipeline stringing welding NDT coating trenching lowering and backfilling</li><li>Valve stations scraper traps tie-ins and crossings (e.g. road rail river HDD)</li></ul></li><li>Coordinate with design offices vendors and subcontractors to resolve technical queries (TQs) field changes and interface issues.</li><li>Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications pipeline codes (API 5L ASME B31.4 / B31.8) and HSE regulations.</li><li>Assist QA/QC teams with inspection and testing activities including:<ul><li>Weld inspections (NDT hydrotest)</li><li>Coating inspections</li><li>Pigging flushing drying and pre-commissioning</li></ul></li><li>Maintain as-built documentation red-line drawings and technical reports.</li><li>Participate in field walkdowns punch list preparation and clearance and system handover to commissioning/operations.</li><li>Monitor contractor work progress interface coordination and material availability.</li><li>Support environmental protection and right-of-way (ROW) compliance in field execution.</li></ul><h3>KEY QUALIFICATIONS</h3><ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Pipeline or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).</li><li>8-12 years of field experience in pipeline construction in Oil&Gas or related industries.</li><li>Hands-on knowledge of pipeline construction techniques welding processes hydrotesting and pre-commissioning.</li><li>Familiar with international pipeline design and construction codes: API ASME DNV etc.</li><li>Experience with HDD thrust boring and special crossings is preferred.</li><li>Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings isometrics P&IDs and route maps.</li><li>Competent in using MS Office AutoCAD and relevant engineering documentation systems.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving coordination and communication skills.</li></ul><p>VERTICAL</p><p>ENGINEERING</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
