Share this job as a link in your status update to LinkedIn.LocationCategorySurveyingJob TypeFull-timeWorking DaysJob DescriptionThe Land Surveyor shall work under the direct supervision of Resident Engineer at designated site and perform the supervision of Contractor’s work.This position will provide on-site construction inspection and applicable documentation for construction projects. This includes observation of construction and maintenance work activities for compliance with plans and specifications, preparation of required contract documentation, and following prescribed Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures consistent with Local Agency Guidelines.Duties and Responsibilities:Fulfilling tasks of Site Supervision, such as inspecting and verifying the accuracy of Contractors survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.Supervise Contractors onsite installation works, support on elaborating design and as well as follow up thereof implementation according to specifications and drawings.Undertake surveys by using a variety of modern surveying equipment, manual recording, computer-aided drafting programs and databases to collect and record data of geological areas according to project requirementsPrepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.Review Contractor’s submittals such as method statements, technical submittals, shop drawings, etc. to ensure compliance with Contract Documents.Ensure that the Project HSE and QA/QC requirements are followedMonitor and record site progress and keep record of day works of assigned projectsPerform other project duties as assigned by the management.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in survey engineering5 years of post-graduate experience in a similar positionProficiency in MS Office and CADStrong communication skills in English both written and verbal; Arabic will be an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
