FIELD INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

<div><p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Field Instrumentation Engineer to support field execution and coordinate between design procurement and construction teams for Oil&Gas projects. The role focuses on ensuring instrumentation and control systems are installed tested and commissioned in line with design requirements project standards and construction schedules. This position plays a critical role in resolving technical issues on‑site and driving seamless integration between engineering deliverables and field execution.</p><h3>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul><li>Serve as the site focal point for all field instrumentation and control systems installation and integration activities.</li><li>Interpret and implement Instrumentation IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings data sheets hook‑up diagrams loop diagrams cable schedules and wiring diagrams.</li><li>Support and coordinate with construction teams on installation of:<ul><li>Field instruments (pressure temperature flow level etc.)</li><li>Control valves actuators</li><li>Instrument junction boxes and marshaling panels</li><li>Cable laying glanding and termination</li></ul></li><li>Review and coordinate resolution of technical queries (TQs) and RFIs related to instrumentation scope.</li><li>Liaise with design offices vendors and construction subcontractors for timely resolution of technical issues and interface challenges.</li><li>Verify and supervise instrument calibration loop checking and functional testing at the site.</li><li>Support pre‑commissioning and commissioning teams by ensuring instrument systems are ready for energization and integration into control systems (e.g. DCS/PLC/ESD/F&G).</li><li>Ensure all instrumentation works comply with engineering standards project specifications HSE practices and QA/QC requirements.</li><li>Maintain and update as‑built documentation red‑line markups and commissioning records.</li><li>Participate in inspections punch listing and handover processes.</li></ul><h3>KEY QUALIFICATIONS</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Electronics Electrical or Control Engineering.</li><li>8-12 years of relevant experience in field instrumentation in Oil&Gas or Petrochemical industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Field instrumentation and control systems Hazardous area classification (ATEX IECEx)</li><li>Strong knowledge of International codes and standards (ISA IEC API NEC/NEMA)</li><li>Experience with instrumentation design packages wiring diagrams loop drawings.</li><li>Familiar with tools such as SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools) AutoCAD and MS Office.</li><li>Experience coordinating with DCS/PLC vendors (e.g. Emerson ABB Siemens Honeywell).</li><li>Strong communication and problem‑solving skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders.</li><li>Experience in onshore terminals offshore platforms or LNG facilities. (Preferred)</li><li>Previous involvement in EPC or brownfield projects. (Preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with ICSS (Integrated Control and Safety Systems) and safety instrumentation (SIS ESD F&G).
