Fiber Installation Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of fiber installation teams Plan assign and review work to ensure timely completion and adherence to standards Conduct site surveys assess project requirements and prepare reports Ensure installations comply with industry standards safety regulations and customer requirements Train mentor and evaluate the performance of installation technicians Monitor project progress resolve issues and communicate status to management Inspect completed work to ensure quality accuracy and proper documentation Manage tools equipment and inventory used by the installation teams Liaise with contractors vendors and clients as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; degree or technical certification in telecommunications or related field is preferred Minimum of 35 years of experience in fiber optic installation with at least 12 years in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of fiber installation practices splicing and testing procedures Proficient with fiber optic testing equipment such as OTDRs power meters and splicing tools Familiarity with aerial and underground fiber installation techniques Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills Preferred Skills: FOA CFOS/T or CFOT certification Experience with GIS mapping or project management software Knowledge of local permitting and utility regulations Key Skills Fire Safety,Academics,Communication,Marine Services,Asic,Broadcast Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
