Job Description The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst role is an intermediate position where you will participate in establishing and implementing new or updated application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, model development, and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs - Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, testing, and implementation - Provide user and operational support on applications to business users - Utilize specialty knowledge to analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards - Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation to ensure successful system design and functionality - Consult with users/clients and technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions - Ensure essential procedures are followed, define operating standards and processes - Act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts - Operate with limited direct supervision, exercise independence of judgment and autonomy - Assess risk when making business decisions, drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 5-8 years of relevant experience - Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications - Experience in managing and implementing successful projects - Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods - Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements **Education:** - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience This position is crucial for leading the Bonds migration project for LM countries, specifically for the Consent Order initiative. The role requires skills in Java, Microservices, APIs, Kafka, Flink, and ECS. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery, design, develop, and implement measures for Bonds, and lead a team of developers to adhere to best practices and coding standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for migrating risk calculations to the XCS Pipeline for over 60 LM countries. This job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
