Family Wellbeing Policies Section Head (UAE National)

The Department of community Development is hiring for the role of Children and Youth Policies Section Head (UAE National) to join their team in Abu Dhabi.Objective of the RoleLeading the development and improvement of evidence-based policies and strategies for children and young in accordance with their needs and ensuring an effective and efficient implementation in coordination with the concerned authorities, to achieve sustainable and impactful development for Youth and Children in Abu Dhabi.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the development of childhood and youth strategies and policies in coordination with the concerned authorities and the approved regulations.Identify key social services, programs and initiatives based on the needs of children and youth to promote their well-being and support their social integration, in coordination with strategic policies and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.Monitoring performance and impact of targeted programs and initiative.Ensure that priorities and plans align with strategic objectives, and that they are implemented on time, within budget, and with high quality.People and financial management of the section.QualificationsMinimum 7 years of full-time experience in strategy, public policy, program management, with a minimum of 2 years managing a team (Currently on a supervisory or Team lead level).Master's degree in public administration, public policy, Youth and Children development or related.Available to work in Abu Dhabi on full time office based.Required SkillsYouth/ Children Public Policy analysis and Strategies developmentSocial program design and success monitoringGood understanding of the Youth and Children social needs in Abu Dhabi and UAE in general.#J-18808-Ljbffr
