Facultative and Direct Broker

DescriptionPerformance ObjectivesOversees the development of the Broking community to an ascribed standard of technical competencyProvides direction and leadership to the community of brokers within the geography across all lines of businessEnsures global Broking data strategy is consistently implemented by the Broking community within the geographyManages and develops the Broking leadership team in the geography, within the matrix organisationEscalation point for all Carrier issues, including escalation management of placement or claims within geography, working with Line of Business Broking LeadershipLeads the Carrier Management team to enable the execution of Geographic and Regional line of business Broking strategiesHolds all regulatory licenses, permissions and technical or other requirements applicable under local legislationDevelop and maintain client relationships as agreed within the regionCreates a consistency of Broking activities across the Lines of Business within the regionChampion all global Broking initiatives, such as Broking Transformation, Operational Improvement, Technology Investment and Broking Competency Development ProgramsQualificationsThe RequirementsProfessional qualifications such as ACII or similar country equivalent, or relevant industry experienceEducated to a degree, or MBA level (or country equivalent)Extensive knowledge of the insurance market and ability to understand potential conflicts of interest in CRB activityAbility to demonstrate evidence of a highly professional and credible approach across the broking market community, resulting in an understanding of client and technical issues and capability to solveExceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skillsExcellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of developing peopleStrong facilitation skills – able to use inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity and gain agreementHigh levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change managementStrong skills in problem solving, planning and budgetingThe Application ProcessStage 1: Online application and recruiter reviewStage 2: Live video interview with hiring manager and teamStage 3: Offer and onboarding“We’re committed to equal employment opportunity and provide application, interview and workplace adjustments and accommodations to all applicants.
