Factory Production Supervisor

ResponsibilitiesProduction Oversight: Supervise daily production activities on the factory floor to ensure smooth and timely operations.Production Oversight: Assign tasks to machine operators, technicians and laborers and ensure adherence to schedules.Production Oversight: Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues with technical teams.Production Oversight: Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines and materials.Quality Control & Compliance: Monitor production quality and ensure all output meets company standards and customer requirements.Quality Control & Compliance: Enforce adherence to ISO, safety and factory compliance standards.Quality Control & Compliance: Work closely with the Quality Control team to resolve any defects or process issues.Team Supervision & Coordination: Lead, train and motivate factory workers to meet productivity and quality goals.Team Supervision & Coordination: Monitor staff performance and report issues to the Production Manager.Team Supervision & Coordination: Conduct daily briefings and provide regular feedback to the team.Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve workflow.Process Improvement: Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime and material usage.Process Improvement: Assist in planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.Health Safety & Housekeeping: Ensure compliance with factory safety policies and PPE requirements.Health Safety & Housekeeping: Report and address safety incidents or potential hazards immediately.Health Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and order on the production floor.Skills & Tools: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); ERP systems knowledge is an advantage.Other Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.QualificationsEducation: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing or fabrication facility; preferably aluminium/glass industry.Knowledge: Strong knowledge of production processes, materials handling and safety standards.Leadership: Good leadership and team management skills.Technical: Basic knowledge of machine operations and preventive maintenance.Communication: Strong communication skills in English (Hindi/Urdu is a plus).#J-18808-Ljbffr
