Facility Engineer

We are seeking two qualified and experienced Facility Engineers to join our team for the AREDC MCY Project in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidates will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of MEP systems, ensuring smooth facility performance and compliance with quality and safety standards. This role requires a strong technical background in mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in HVAC, chilled water, and plumbing systems.Key Job Responsibilities:Oversee and ensure the effective operation and maintenance of all MEP systems, including HVAC, Chilled Water, Electrical, Hot Water Boiler, Plumbing, Drainage and other allied Mechanical Systems.Supervise and monitor maintenance teams and MEP contractors to ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and cost controls.Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.Review and evaluate engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues across various MEP systems.Ensure adherence to internationally recognized mechanical codes and standards.Maintain accurate documentation, maintenance records, and performance reports.Support the Facility Management team in planning and implementing maintenance schedules.Utilize Facility Management software such as CAFM for operational efficiency.Promote safety, reliability, and sustainability in all facility operations.Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).Minimum 8 years of post‑qualification experience in MEP or Facilities Management.Minimum 6 years of Gulf experience with Facilities Management or Maintenance Contractors.Prior work on projects similar to Mesaimeer City (residential, high‑rise, or commercial buildings) is an advantage.Strong expertise in Chilled Water HVAC Systems (mandatory).Working knowledge of Hot Water Boiler Systems (advantageous).Familiarity with CAFM software and international mechanical standards.Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Windows OS.Excellent diagnostic, planning, and organizational skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Valid Qatar Driving License required.Nationality: Any (open)Availability: Must be locally available in Qatar.Number of Positions: 2Working Days: Sunday to ThursdayWorking Hours: 07:00 AM 03:00 PMDays Off: Friday and SaturdayContract Duration: RecruitmentSalary Package: QAR 8,000 (Full package inclusive of Basic, Accommodation, Transportation, Food & Other Allowances)Food, Accommodation & Transportation: Included in packageAnnual Benefits: Yearly air ticket entitlement#J-18808-Ljbffr
