Job Description

The Facilities Coordinator will have a significant impact on customer experience. The Facilities Coordinator will have the ability to lead and manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet time lines. The Facilities Coordinator will develop plans on how to accomplish engineering departmental goals. The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for the leadership/development and coaching of the team. Performance Management will be carried out by the Facilities Coordinator – Maintenance. This role also leads the technical team in providing both a reactive and pro‑active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Delivery Stations (DS). The role has a direct impact on the site, its productivity and operational success. If equipment is not available or performs badly it minimizes the capacity and throughput of the site.Key Job ResponsibilitiesTo provide supervision and leadership to Facility SupervisorsTo develop Preventive and predictive maintenance of DSs assets including material handling and automation systemsTo be experienced in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting any of all site’s assetsTo act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the siteManage day to day engineering and soft services including housekeeping and upkeep of premisesTo manage EHS and statutory compliances of DSs including waste management and hazardous waste management as per bylaws, timely renewal of licensesTo develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organizationAbility to provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performanceAbility to prioritize and manage resources under high pressureQualifications1+ years of using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities experience1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceHigh school or equivalent diplomaWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysTravel up to 15% of the time6+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler working within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent experienceExperience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenanceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
