Facade Designer

Key Responsibilities:Design & Drafting:Prepare detailed shop drawings fabrication drawings and as-built drawings for façade systems including curtain walls aluminium cladding windows doors skylights etc.Create 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and other design software as requiredDevelop technical drawings based on architectural plans structural drawings and project specificationsTechnical Coordination:Coordinate with the production procurement site and estimation teams to ensure smooth transition from design to executionReview architectural and structural drawings to extract necessary information for façade designIncorporate consultant/client comments and revise designs accordinglyMaterial & System Knowledge:Apply knowledge of different façade systems such as stick unitized structural glazing ACP cladding spider glazing etc.Assist in selecting appropriate materials and systems based on performance aesthetics and cost-effectivenessDocumentation & Compliance:Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards safety codes and project-specific requirementsPrepare technical submittals and coordinate for design approvals from consultantsMaintain version control and documentation for all design outputsProblem Solving & Support:Provide design-related support to the site team during installation and mock-up reviewsIdentify and resolve potential design conflicts or challenges during the pre-construction phaseRequirementsRequirements:Degree/Diploma in Architecture Civil Engineering or related field35 years of UAE experience in façade design (aluminium and glass industry)Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; knowledge of Revit Rhino or SolidWorks is an advantageFamiliarity with façade systems aluminium profiles and fabrication techniquesStrong understanding of architectural detailing and construction methodsAbility to read and interpret architectural and structural drawingsGood communication skills in English; ability to coordinate with internal teams and clientsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail Key Skills Graphic Design,Layout Design,Logo Design,CAD,Adobe Creative Suite,SolidWorks,Drafting,Adobe Photoshop,Autocad,Adobe Illustrator,Catia,Adobe Indesign Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 700 - 5000
