OverviewJob Description – Fabricator (Structural & Piping)The Fabricator is responsible for carrying out structural and piping fabrication activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The role requires hands-on experience in fabrication works, drawing interpretation, and adherence to quality and workplace discipline, especially in industrial and project-based environments.ResponsibilitiesPerform fabrication of structural steel and piping components as per drawings and specifications.Study and interpret fabrication drawings, isometrics, GA drawings, and sketches accurately.Carry out cutting, fitting, assembling, and tack welding of materials as required.Ensure dimensional accuracy and proper alignment before final welding or dispatch.Work closely with welders, supervisors, and site engineers to meet project timelines.Follow safety rules, quality standards, and work procedures strictly at all times.Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the workplace.Identify fabrication issues and report deviations or material shortages to supervisors.Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly.Support shutdowns, maintenance, and project fabrication activities when required.Essential QualificationsEducation: 10th / +2 / ITI (Fitter / Fabrication Trade preferred)Experience: 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Structural & Piping FabricationAge Limit: Below 40 yearsSkills & Technical RequirementsStrong knowledge of structural steel and piping fabricationGood drawing study and interpretation skillsExperience in industrial / plant / workshop fabrication environmentsFamiliarity with fabrication tools, cutting machines, and measuring instrumentsUnderstanding of basic welding symbols and fit-up requirementsAbility to work independently and as part of a team#J-18808-Ljbffr
