We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabrication Supervisor to oversee fabrication activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate fabrication activities for ship repair, maintenance, and new build projects.Ensure all fabrication work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.Plan, allocate, and manage manpower, materials, and equipment to meet production targets and deadlines.Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of fabrication work.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and QC teams to ensure materials and processes meet project requirements.Monitor fabrication quality and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.Identify and resolve fabrication issues, providing technical guidance to the team.Maintain daily progress reports, material usage records, and manpower allocation logs.Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of materials to avoid damage or wastage.Conduct toolbox talks and enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and procedures.Coordinate inspections with QC inspectors and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.Ensure all fabrication equipment and tools are in good working condition.Support project schedules by ensuring timely completion of fabrication activities.Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure smooth workflow and project execution.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Fabrication Manager or Project Manager.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or related field.Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in fabrication supervision within shipyard, marine, oil & gas, or EPC projects.Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, assembly, and structural works.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.Familiarity with international standards (ASME, AWS, ISO).Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.Fluency in English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage.Why Join Us?Be part of a well-established organization in the UAE’s marine and engineering sector.Work on complex and high‑value fabrication and ship repair projects.Opportunities for career growth and skill development.Structured and safety‑driven work environment.Collaborative culture focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.About the TeamAli & Sons Marine Engineering FactoryAli & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF) was established in 2009 with the aim of catering to the Marine and Oil & Gas Industry in the UAE.
