Job Description

OverviewPURPOSE OF JOBThe Project Manager will be required to deliver the technology projects related to Security Services. Key responsibilities include engaging with key stakeholders, defining the project framework, following the IT PMO project process, ensuring delivery of the projects on-time and within budgets. The resource must also understand the Security Services function with proven records of delivering IT projects related to their business.ResponsibilitiesDefine and own project plan: estimate project effort, define high level and detailed project plan including staffing and logistics (Resource profile governance organization)Identify project risks & issues and ensure mitigationAct as key liaison between business IT and all relevant stakeholdersEnsure a high level of delivery and user experienceDevelop an end-to-end project plan with key milestones, metrics and deliverablesPrepare detailed status reports to managementOrganize and spearhead project meetings (working groups, steerCo, etc.)Liaise and manage deliveries with external vendorsEnsure adherence to the IT PMO process and delivery of initiatives within agreed budget and timeframesCapitalize on lessons learnedCan be involved during the pre-initiation phase (RFQ, RFIR, RFP, POC)Job Knowledge & ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience managing and delivering projects for Security Services DomainExperience in implementation and handling Security Services IT solutions within large financial institutions such as trade booking systems, electronic trading platforms, risk management systems, accounting and bank-officeExperience in integrating different solutions with core banking systemsExcellent knowledge of Security Services products and processes, front to backQualifications and SkillsThe candidate should possess either a postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems / Engineering / Business AdministrationThe candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience in a Bank or IT Company for a minimum of 10 yearsProven record of managing and delivering large scale projects for Security ServicesStrong record of stakeholder management and leadership skillsStrong understanding of the financial markets, trading and banking solutionsStrong organizational skills coupled with the ability to deliver well under pressure and tight deadlinesCandidate must display strong verbal and written communication skillsCertification in project management will be beneficialPrior experience as part of a management team (lead role with plan, resource and issue/change responsibilities) that successfully managed a full life cycle implementationBenefitsNeed Resources who can join within a month’s time.
