Job DescriptionJobTitle:ExpeditingEngineer(OilandGas)Location: Dubai UAEJobType:FulltimeDepartment: ProcurementReports to: Expediting leaderExperienceLevel:710yearsJobDescription:WereseekinganexperiencedExpeditingEngineertojoinourdynamicteamintheoil&gassector.Inthisroleyouwillberesponsibleforensuringthetimelydeliveryof materialsandequipmentcoordinatingwithsuppliersandcontractorsandmaintaininghighstandardsofqualityandcompliance.KeyResponsibilities:Monitorandtrackorderstoensuretimelydelivery to meet project schedules and required receiving date at siteCoordinatewithsuppliersvendorsandcontractorstoexpeditematerials. ensuring compliance with client standards.Monitor the progress of orders placed until final delivery at site locations.Review production schedules manufacturing processes and supplier capabilities to prevent delaysRegularly communicate with suppliers to obtain updates on production schedules and identify any potential bottlenecks.Visit supplier and vendor facilities as needed to monitor the progress of manufacturing and assembly processes.Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.Monitor critical path items and ensure suppliers meet milestones as per the project schedule.Addressdelaysdiscrepanciesorqualityissues.Maintainaccuraterecords of material deliveries shipment status and supplier performance.CreateandmaintaincomprehensiveReports forallexpeditingactivities.Ensurecompliancewithindustrystandards safetyregulations and client standards.Coordinate with crossfunctional teams (engineering procurement logistics quality control) to resolve any issues or challengesSupportprojectmanagementteamswithlogisticsandscheduleupdates.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in engineeringSupplyChainManagement710yearsofexperienceinexpeditingwithintheoilandgasindustry.Strongunderstandingofsupplychainmanagementandlogistics.Excellentcommunicationandproblemsolvingskills.Strongnegotiationskillsandtheabilitytobuildrelationshipswithsuppliersand contractors.Familiaritywithindustrystandardsandsafetyregulations.AbilitytomanagemultipleprojectssimultaneouslyFluent in English Arabic is a plusWork Environment:Willingness to travel to supplier facilities and client project sites as necessary.Ability to work in fastpaced highstress environments particularly on large oil and gas projects with tight deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
