Executive Chef vacancy in El-Fujairah UAEExecutive Chef in El-Fujairah, UAEresponsibilities, qualifications and skills.OverviewJob Summary: We are looking for a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead and manage the culinary operations of our restaurant in El-Fujairah. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and creating innovative dishes, managing kitchen operations, overseeing staff training, menu design, budgeting and cost control, hygiene standards compliance as well as providing leadership to the kitchen team.ResponsibilitiesDevelop creative menus according to seasonality and customer feedbackManage all aspects of kitchen operations including food prep, cooking techniques and plating presentationMonitor quality of ingredients used for dishes including freshness and tasteEnsure compliance with food safety standards set by the local authoritiesManage the inventory of kitchen supplies ensuring that items are ordered on time from approved vendors at agreed pricesOversee staff recruitment, training and development as well as scheduling shifts for the kitchen staffMonitor staff performance on a daily basis ensuring that all tasks are completed according to set standardsDevelop new recipes in collaboration with other chefs/cooks in order to ensure a varied menu offeringWork with other departments such as housekeeping or front of house staff to ensure smooth running of operationsQualifications & SkillsProven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a hospitality environmentExcellent knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment and proceduresWorking knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP guidelinesHands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. mixers)Ability to remain calm under pressure while working long hours in a busy environmentLeadership skills to inspire your team with enthusiasm while setting high expectationsExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailFlexibility in schedule (weekends/holidays & nights)Outstanding communication abilities both written & verbalRelevant professional qualifications in Culinary Arts or related field will be an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
