Job Description

Role PurposeTo design, implement, and manage a robust risk management framework for an Expansion Project. The role ensures that all project risk related to scope, cost, schedule, safety, quality, and compliance, are identified, quantified, monitored, and mitigated throughout all phases of execution.Key Accountabilities & ActivitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive project risk management plan aligned with corporate standards and industry best practices.Establish unified processes for risk identification, assessment, and escalation.Conduct risk identification workshops with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations teams.Maintain and regularly update the project risk register.Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses (Monte Carlo, sensitivity analysis, decision trees).Track project performance to identify emerging threats and update risk exposure.Collaborate with the Project Manager and discipline leads to define mitigation strategies and contingency plans.Integrate risk outputs with cost estimation, scheduling, and procurement planning.4. Reporting & GovernancePrepare risk-based reports for PMO and senior management.Provide risk insights for vendor evaluation, contract structuring, and claims analysis.Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate policy, and ISO/industry-specific risk standards.5. Training & Capacity BuildingDeliver training on risk methodologies, tools, and processes.Promote a risk-aware culture across engineering and project teams.Job SpecificationsPreferredKnowledge / SkillsProficiency in risk analysis tools (e.g., Primavera Risk Analysis, Risk, Monte Carlo simulation tools).Solid understanding of project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities.Familiarity with ISO 31000, PMI‑RMP, or equivalent standards (certifications are a plus).High attention to detail and analytical thinking.Strong communication and documentation skills.Ability to challenge assumptions and drive fact‑based decision‑making.Integrity, reliability, and adherence to confidentiality standards.Education / CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, Statistics, or related discipline.Master’s degree is an advantage (Engineering, Project/Construction Management, Risk Management).RequiredExperienceMinimum 7–12 years of experience in project risk management within EPC, industrial, or heavy manufacturing sectors.Strong background in risk modeling, schedule risk analysis, and cost risk assessments.Experience working within PMO or major capital project environments is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
