Estimator Marine

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Estimator to join our marine team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As the  Estimator you will play a crucial role in our organisation by preparing accurate cost estimates for infrastructure and marine construction projects analysing data contributing to the overall success of our bidding process and coaching junior staffs.Develop comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects of varying sizes and complexitiesAnalyse blueprints specifications proposals and other documentation to prepare time cost materials and labour estimatesExpert in CCS CandyConsult with clients vendors and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issuesPrepare and maintain a database of previous bids and current cost informationConduct quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost breakdownsIdentify potential risks and opportunities within project estimatesCollaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure estimate accuracy and completenessStay updated on market trends pricing and new estimating techniquesParticipate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as requiredAssist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentationsQualifications : Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or Quantity SurveyingMinimum of 12 years of experience in construction marine estimating worksProficiency in estimating software such as CCS Candy or similar toolsMarine related work experience is mandatoryExcellent knowledge of construction methods materials and industry standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially ExcelAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience in cost analysis and budget preparationKnowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAEFamiliarity with MENA region construction practices and market trendsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlinesCertified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification preferred would be advantage Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Contract Key Skills Bluebeam,Construction Estimating,Construction Experience,HeavyBid,Math,Sage,Pricing,Cost Control,Restoration,Roofing,Microsoft Excel,Auto Estimating Experience: years Vacancy: 1
