ESG Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced ESG Specialist to join our sustainability team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will lead ESG reporting initiatives, implement GRI Standards, and perform detailed sustainability data analysis to support our corporate responsibility goals. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders to enhance our ESG performance and ensure compliance with regional and international frameworks.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, manage, and enhance ESG reporting processes in accordance with GRI Standards and other relevant frameworksCollect, validate, and analyze sustainability data across environmental, social, and governance metricsPrepare ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, and regulatory filings for internal and external stakeholdersMonitor emerging ESG regulations and best practices in the UAE and internationally to ensure complianceCollaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams to integrate ESG considerations into business processesEngage with investors, regulators, and industry associations on ESG topics and reporting requirementsIdentify opportunities for improving ESG performance and recommend strategic initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or related field5–8 years of professional experience in ESG reporting or sustainability rolesProven expertise in applying GRI Standards for sustainability reportingStrong proficiency in sustainability data analysis, including data collection, validation, and interpretationHands‑on experience with ESG reporting tools and softwareSolid understanding of regional (UAE) and international ESG regulations and frameworksExcellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex data clearlyPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or related disciplineProfessional certification in ESG or sustainability (e.g., SASB FSA, CERA, CSR-P)Familiarity with additional ESG frameworks such as TCFD, SASB, or UN SDGsExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Working knowledge of ArabicDemonstrated success in driving cross‑departmental sustainability initiatives#J-18808-Ljbffr
