ERPNext Architect & Tech Lead (Frappe/Python)

About The RoleWe are seeking an experiencedAbout The RoleWe are seeking an experienced ERPNext Developer to lead the development, customization, implementation, and ongoing support of ERPNext across multiple business functions. The role requires a strong balance of technical expertise (Frappe/Python) and functional process understanding across HR, Finance, Inventory, and Operations.This position plays a critical role in driving our digital transformation roadmap, reducing dependency on external vendors, and enabling faster, high-quality ERP enhancements.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical DevelopmentCustomize and extend ERPNext modules using the Frappe Framework (Python, JavaScript, Jinja).Develop custom apps, DocTypes, workflows, scripts (client & server), and print formats.Build dashboards, reports, and role-based views.Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage patches and upgrades.Functional ImplementationGather requirements and map business processes across HR, Payroll, Finance, Inventory, CRM, Projects, and Academics.Configure workflows, roles, permissions, document types, and notifications.Perform gap analysis and recommend ERP-aligned process improvements.Lead UAT, user training, and functional documentation.ERP AdministrationManage ERPNext deployments, upgrades, bench operations, and database migrations.Ensure data integrity, access control, and system security.Coordinate with infrastructure teams on hosting and server operations.Integrations & AutomationImplement REST API integrations with third-party systems (attendance devices, payment gateways, portals, etc.).Configure webhooks, scheduled jobs, and automation to streamline operations.Documentation & GovernancePrepare BRDs, functional specs, SRS documents, SOPs, and release notes.Maintain configuration logs and ensure compliance with internal IT and data governance standards.Required SkillsTechnicalERPNext & Frappe FrameworkPython, JavaScript, MariaDB, JinjaGit, Linux/Ubuntu, NginxAPI integrations and automation scriptingCloud hosting experience (AWS / DigitalOcean preferred)FunctionalStrong understanding of:HR & PayrollFinance & Accounting (basic ledger & journals)Inventory & ProcurementSales, CRM, ProjectsEducation module (preferred)Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skillsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field3-5 years of hands-on ERPNext & Frappe experienceProven ERP implementation experience in medium to large organizationsPortfolio or GitHub showcasing ERPNext customizations is highly preferredKey AttributesStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple ERP initiativesDetail-oriented, process-driven, and proactiveHigh commitment to system reliability and quality delivery#J-18808-Ljbffr
