You will ensure charging accuracy, service continuity, and optimal network performance across GSM/WCDMA systems in a live operator environment.</p><h3>Detailed Job Description</h3><p>As an IN BO Engineer, you will be responsible for real‑time charging operations, tariff implementation, service class configuration, and performance monitoring across Ericsson charging nodes. You will handle escalated issues, conduct routine system health checks, manage performance degradations, and support system integration and change activities. The role requires strong technical expertise across Ericsson IN components and hands‑on troubleshooting skills to ensure continuous service stability. You will be part of a 24Ɨ7 on‑call rotation supporting mission‑critical charging functions.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Implement tariff, service class, and charging configuration changes.</li><li>Troubleshoot, configure, and monitor Ericsson IN/Charging system performance.</li><li>Handle network and equipment issues escalated from Surveillance/NOC teams.</li><li>Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, and SW/HW status tracking.</li><li>Monitor KPIs to detect and resolve performance degradations.</li><li>Support network changes, software upgrades, and system integration activities.</li><li>Analyze performance reports and resolve issues within SLA timelines.</li><li>Participate in technical meetings related to IN operations.</li><li>Join the 24Ɨ7 on‑call support rotation.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications&Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong knowledge of GSM/WCDMA technologies and call flows.</li><li>Hands‑on experience with Ericsson Charging System nodes: SDP, AIR, CCN, OCC, NGVS, ECE, ECNMT, NeLS.</li><li>Solid experience in IN business configuration and charging logic.</li><li>System administration: Linux, Unix Shell scripting, Python, SQL, Oracle DB.</li><li>Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals.</li><li>Experience with SDP geo‑redundancy setups.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.</li><li>Hands‑on experience using Wireshark for trace analysis.</li></ul><h3>Nice‑to‑Have Skills</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of Diameter, CAMEL, MAP protocols used in charging flows.</li><li>Experience in VoLTE/VoNR charging interactions.</li><li>Familiarity with automation tools for operational tasks.</li><li>Exposure to multi‑vendor or large telecom operator environments.</li></ul><h3>Recruitment Pro Tip</h3><p>Showcase specific Ericsson Charging System projects where you resolved high‑impact charging faults, optimized charging KPIs, or implemented complex tariff configurations.
