In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring engineers, driving technical excellence, and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of innovative, scalable solutions.</p><p>You will be instrumental in shaping processes and culture of the engineering team, driving high-quality deliverables in an agile environment. You will ensure efficient collaboration across teams, and build systems that can support our ambitious vision.</p><h3><b>What You’ll Be Doing:</b></h3><ul><li><p><b>Lead and Mentor</b>: Guide a team of engineers by providing direction, support, and professional growth opportunities.</p></li><li><p><b>Drive Technical Excellence</b>: Establish and uphold high coding and performance standards, encouraging best practices across the team.</p></li><li><p><b>Stakeholder Collaboration</b>: Partner with product, design, and business teams to shape technical solutions that meet business goals.</p></li><li><p><b>Process Optimization</b>: Implement efficient development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable practices to maximize productivity and quality.</p></li><li><p><b>Troubleshoot Complex Challenges</b>: Resolve technical and operational issues swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to product delivery.</p></li></ul><h3><b>What You’ll Need:</b></h3><ul><li><p>8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a team management role.</p></li><li><p>Still hands on technical and able to code in Java or in one of the frontend technologies.</p></li><li><p>Proven track record in leading teams that design and deliver large-scale, distributed systems.</p></li><li><p>Solid experience in backend or frontend technologies including Java, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, or React, Angular and Svelte.</p></li><li><p>Practical experience with AWS is a big plus.</p></li><li><p>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.</p></li><li><p>Ability to set and achieve strategic goals, adapting swiftly to changing priorities.</p></li><li><p>English level - C1 or equivalent.</p></li></ul><h3><b>Why Join Us?</b></h3><p>At Thrill Labs, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the future of product development, working with a team of innovators who are driven to push boundaries.
