Engineering Manager

Job SummaryThis position will work closely with the Project Manager and lead discipline engineers to manage engineering activities and coordinate interfaces across the project. The role involves supervising the engineering subcontractor and ensuring the successful execution of all engineering phases from initiation to completion. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality engineering outputs on schedule and within budget while maintaining compliance with HSSE standards and achieving performance goals for quality schedule and cost.Lead meetings with clients and plan organize and manage engineering studies to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle including constructability reviews and as-built documentation.Support the Project Manager in stakeholder interface management throughout the project. Provide technical guidance and review the engineering deliverables prepared by the engineering consultant to ensure high-quality solutions that meet client specifications contractual requirements and industry standards.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage supervise and coordinate the engineering project and align with companys strategic goals and objectivesLeading and managing the multi-discipline engineering team to foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvementReview FEED and detail design documents and provide high-level expertise for the projectEfficiently allocating resources including personnel budget and equipment to optimize project outcomesProviding technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality engineering solutions and adherence to industry standards and meets client ADNOC standards and project engineering specificationsOverseeing the successful execution of engineering projects from inception to completion ensuring they are delivered on time and within budgetMaintaining effective communication with stakeholders including upper management clients and team members to ensure alignment and address any issues promptlyCoordinate all design and safety workshops such as design review plot plan review HAZID / HZOP SIL etc. with clients and the third parties and to ensure compliance with recommendationsMonitors compliance with standards and processes to assure deliveryEnsure that engineering subcontractor focus on process safety through the engineering teamOversight and control of Engineering Histogram to support workforce planningResponsible for the engineering content of project execution plans for assigned contracts / projectsConsult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications explain proposals and present engineering reports and findingsAssign co-ordinate and review the technical work of the project engineering teamsFocuses on managerial concerns of the project such as cost completion date and resource allocation. Provides expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of workAssist project manager in carrying out interface management for the project for all the internal and external stakeholders management for the projectReporting on Engineering status technical assistance and support during project and liaison with Clients Subcontractors and VendorsSupport in pre-commissioning and commissioning and vendor coordination.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field or qualified degree with significant experience in technical organization.Desired PMP Project Management Professional &Masters Degree in Engineering ManagementExperienceMinimum of 20 years of relevant experience in major Brownfield oil & gas projects including at least five (05) years in similar position in ADNOC Onshore / Offshore on EPC or EPCm projects.Familiarity with systems and standards in oil & gas petrochemical power and infrastructure sectors.Experience of customer facing communicationSpecific experience in Oil & Gas projects across their lifecycle in the GCC region.Pre-FEED FEED experience is essentialDetailed Engineering experience in onshore / offshore projectsSkills & AbilitiesCapable of representing business and client to business associates in a professional mannerExcellent interpersonal and communication skills capable of influencing people at all levels of the organizationSkilled in forecast planning for people resourcesAble to implement and embed standards and processes to effect delivery of engineering excellenceGood knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislationExpert in Engineering excellenceAble to carry out audit and incident investigations Good Project management skillsSkilled in mediation and dispute resolutionFinancial and commercial awarenessExcellent PC Skills (MS Office Automation)Remote Work: NoEmployment Type: Full-timeKey SkillsHospitality Experience,Go,Management Experience,React,Redux,Node.js,AWS,Mechanical Engineering,Team Management,Leadership Experience,Mentoring,Distributed SystemsExperience: yearsVacancy: 1#J-18808-Ljbffr
