The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NFPA 72, UL standards, HCIS&Saudi Aramco requirements, with a proven track record in managing the complete design lifecycle, from initial concept through to project completion.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Project Oversight: Oversees the entire design process from concept through execution and completion, ensuring designs meet technical requirements, specifications, budget constraints, and quality standards.</li><li>Fire Alarm System Design&Execution: Lead the design of fire alarm, voice evacuation, and smoke detection systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 72, UL, HCIS, Aramco, and AHJ standards.</li><li>Project Lifecycle Management: Manage all aspects of the project design, including BoQs, submittals, and schematics, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client requirements.</li><li>Team Coordination&Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the project manager to allocate engineering resources effectively, ensuring schedules and regulatory/code requirements are met.</li><li>Design Review&Compliance: Review riser/shop drawings, loop/wiring layouts, and panel designs to meet codes, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.</li><li>System Calculations: Supervise and perform calculations including voltage drop, battery sizing, NAC design, line resistance, and heat dissipation.</li><li>System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of fire alarm systems with suppression, HVAC, and emergency control systems according to project specifications.</li><li>Quality Assurance: Lead FAT, SAT, and client inspections to ensure systems meet design and project requirements.</li><li>Vendor&Product Compliance: Handle vendor qualifications and ensure product compliance for fire alarm, security systems, and BMS.</li><li>Technical Support&Problem Resolution: Resolve technical queries, scope deviations, and design clarifications, ensuring smooth communication with clients and stakeholders.</li><li>Access Control&Security Systems: Provide expertise in HCIS‑compliant access control and perimeter security design.</li><li>Documentation&Approvals: Review and approve shop drawings, as‑builts, SLDs, and I/O lists for fire, BMS and security systems.</li><li>Risk Assessment&Design Improvement: Contribute to risk assessments and support development of technical strategies.</li><li>Team Leadership&Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, promoting collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><strong>Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (preferred).</li><li>Minimum of 12 years of experience in fire alarm system design and execution (Siemens experience is highly preferred), with a strong background in industrial/commercial sectors.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of NFPA 72, UL, HCIS, Aramco, and AHJ requirements.</li><li>Experience with system integration for fire, HVAC, and emergency control systems.</li><li>Proficient in fire alarm design tools, schematic drawings, and relevant design software.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage and resolve technical issues, scope deviations, and client concerns effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of Ex‑proof devices (Zone 1/Div 1) and fire suppression systems is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Siemens experience is highly preferred for this role.</li><li>Experience as a project engineer with Saudi Aramco or other major industrial projects.</li><li>Familiarity with ELV systems, including access control, surveillance, and security systems</li></ul><p><strong>What you need to know</strong></p><p>As a world leader in developing and producing advanced engineering technologies, Siemens improves lives and supports sustainable development.
