Engineer - Roads and Highways

As a key member of our team you will contribute to the design and development of cutting‑edge transportation infrastructure projects across the region.Design and develop road and highway projects ensuring compliance with local UAE and international standardsCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality infrastructure solutionsUtilise advanced engineering software to create detailed road and highway designsConduct thorough analyses of traffic flow, safety considerations and environmental impactImplement sustainable and innovative road construction techniquesParticipate in site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and progressPrepare technical reports, design calculations and project documentationContribute to the preparation of project proposals and tender documentsStay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in road and highway engineeringAssist in mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative work environmentQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Masters degree is advantageousProfessional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalentMinimum of 5‑7 years of experience in road and highway engineeringProficiency in road and highway design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStationStrong knowledge of UAE and international road and highway design standards and regulationsExperience in delivering BIM Infrastructure projectsExpertise in sustainable road construction techniques and innovative design solutionsSolid understanding of traffic flow analysis and transportation planning conceptsKnowledge of geotechnical engineering principles related to road constructionProficiency in project management tools and methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detailStrong communication abilities and experience working in multicultural environmentsFamiliarity with local UAE road design standards and regulationsExperience working on projects in the Middle East region is highly desirableWillingness to travel to project sites as requiredRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull‑time#J-18808-Ljbffr
