Engineer (Emergency)

Fully responsible of water customer complaints process and manage the execution of all emergency Maintenance activities.Attend all emergency cases for pipes leaking/burst or apparatuses needs replacement especially large diameter burst, supervise repairing and give advice & monitor the work on site.Coordinate with other Departments, sections during shut-off if required especially with transport.Prepares emergency tender specifications, scope of works and documents for maintenance including reinstatement of roads/pavements, as well as cost estimates and tender documentation, evaluation of Contractor’s bids (Technical & Commercial), award to the suitable bidder and assessment acceptability of contract variations.Issue Contract Work Request (CWR) to the contractors, supervise/monitor their works and verify and certifying invoices for payments.Gathers data concerning outstanding maintenance works to be attended on priority wises and prepare cost estimates for inclusion in the annual budget.Prepare monthly report or any other required reports and gather data required for replace service connections and mains.Arabic - Fluent / ExcellentEnglish - Very GoodOwn a CarAnyHave Driving LicenseAnyJob SkillsEducation: Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical)Work Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Civil/Mechanical Engineer in water networks maintenance jobs.Other Requirements:Have a good scientific knowledge.Have leading skills.Be able and know how to handle conflicts.Have a good ability to speak, read, and write English.Computer literate.This position requires good training for ERP system.Can handle stress situations and available on stand-by to respond and take necessary actions immediately against emergency cases round the clock.Literate in Water Pipe Hydraulics Software, GIS applications and navigation system.Mobilization of resources in resolving emergency conditions.About The CompanyKAHRAMAA works to give customers high quality electricity and water services, and value for its shareholders.
