ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS

<div><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>Supervises Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) related equipment selection&lifecycle, maintenance and pull/run operations; which includes performance analysis, backup inventory and troubleshooting with required operations site support.</p><h3>Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)</h3><ul><li>Carries out regular ESP related performance surveys, updates model and submits to Senior Support Engineer (ESP).</li><li>Develops ESP simulation and equipment size/ selection before installation.</li><li>Attends and provides technical support for troubleshooting/failure analysis on ESP related subsurface&surface equipment.</li><li>Supervises and directs the execution of planned and breakdown work-over for ESP related water supply/ Oil artificial lift wells, repairs for all ESP strings, relevant surface and subsurface equipment in assigned fields.</li><li>Prepares pulling hoists movement plans, retrieve Drilling Workover Schedule for artificial lift work-over activities and required equipment/parts.</li><li>Sets priorities and endorses Hot and/or Cold work permit in conjunction with operations.</li><li>Ensures availability of adequate manpower, materials, spares, tools and test equipment guided by standard procedures.</li><li>Provides technical direction to subordinates on fault finding diagnoses and repairs.</li><li>Inspects work progress/completed work through site visits and/or review of work records to ensure proper and timely execution.</li><li>Adjusts work schedules to accommodate urgently required work and follows up receipt of work orders upon completion of repairs procedures.</li><li>Supervises the operation of pulling hoists (mobile rig) and associated machinery and equipment.</li><li>Orders spares and materials as necessary and control the inventory of consumable, tools test equipment and lifting tackle.</li><li>Schedules and supervises day-to-day workshop activities to ensure the proper utilization of manpower and equipment. Assesses priorities and provides instructions for any special procedures, standards and materials required.</li><li>Monitors and follows up to ensure all work is carried out to high technical and safety standards in all workshop disciplines.</li><li>Issues hot and cold work permits and applies for excavation permits as required; this includes initiating or compiling, approving and passing to operations for countersigning; signs off jointly with operations upon job completion.</li><li>Updates equipment and ESP strings records by inputting activities in the Maintenance Management system.</li></ul><h3>Supervision</h3><ul><li>Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.</li><li>Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.</li></ul><h3>Budgets</h3><ul><li>Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.</li><li>Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.</li></ul><h3>Policies, Systems, Processes&Procedures</h3><ul><li>Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section’s work programs in line with Company and International standards.</li><li>Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.</li></ul><h3>Performance Management</h3><ul><li>Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.</li></ul><h3>Innovation and Continuous Improvement</h3><ul><li>Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.</li><li>Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.</li></ul><h3>Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability</h3><ul><li>Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures&controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices</li></ul><h3>Reports</h3><ul><li>Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualification</h3><p>Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Petroleum Engineering</p><h3>Minimum Experience, Knowledge&Skills</h3><p>6 years of experience in related discipline at an oil/ gas producing Company.</p><h3>Professional Certifications</h3><p>As applicable</p><h3>Work Condition</h3><p>Physical Effort: Minimal</p><p>Work Environment: A/C environment, could be exposed to the prevailing weather conditions like heat, humidity and dust during occasional site visits
