<div><p>Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, we operate construction and manufacturing businesses, design&development centers and a host of facilities in the Middle East and other countries.</p><p>alfanar Construction is classified as a Grade I contractor by the Contractors Classification Committee of the Government of Saudi Arabia.</p><p>alfanar Building Systems manufactures and markets a variety of building construction products and systems.</p><p><b>The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are:</b></p><ul><li>Precast concrete products and architectural elements</li></ul><p>To lead and manage the design and development of electrical systems and components for various projects, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.</p><h3>Key Accountability Areas</h3><ul><li><b>Design and Development:</b>Design electrical systems and components using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, REVIT) and specialized design tools. Develop detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications.</li><li><b>Electrical Systems Design:</b>Design and engineer electrical systems for buildings, industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security and control systems.</li><li><b>Compliance and Regulation:</b>Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC), International Building Code (IBC), and local building and safety code (SBC).</li><li><b>Collaboration:</b>Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, to coordinate electrical design activities.</li><li><b>Load Calculations and Analysis:</b>Conduct load calculations and electrical system analysis to ensure proper sizing and performance of electrical equipment and systems, considering factors such as voltage drop, short-circuit currents, and fault protection.</li><li><b>Quality Control:</b>Review and verify the accuracy of electrical drawings to ensure they meet project requirements and adhere to quality standards.</li><li><b>Problem-solving:</b>Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies in electrical designs, working closely with the engineering team as needed.</li><li><b>Communication:</b>Effectively communicate with internal teams and external vendors to convey technical information and address any concerns related to electrical drawings.</li><li><b>Project Coordination:</b>Assist in project coordination by providing timely updates on the status of electrical drawings and collaborating with other team members to meet project deadlines.</li><li><b>Continuous Improvement:</b>Staying updated on industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in electrical design. Seeking opportunities to improve design processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.</li></ul><h3>Role Accountability</h3><ul><li><b>System Layout and Configuration:</b>Electrical engineer are accountable for laying out electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, communication, and control systems.</li><li><b>Creating Technical Drawings:</b>Create accurate and detailed drawings, including schematics, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams using software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, Etap and other specialized design tools.</li><li><b>Component Selection and Specification:</b>Research, evaluate, and select electrical components, equipment, and materials based on project requirements, performance criteria, and cost considerations.</li><li><b>Documentation and Reporting:</b>Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and engineering drawings to communicate design specifications, procedures, and findings.</li><li><b>Regulatory Compliance:</b>Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, safety regulations, and certification requirements.</li><li><b>Quality Assurance and Review:</b>Electrical engineer are accountable for conducting quality assurance reviews of their designs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.</li><li><b>Client Communication and Support:</b>Provide technical expertise and support to clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout the design, implementation, and maintenance phases of projects.</li><li><b>Drafting Electrical Plans:</b>Creating detailed electrical drawings, plans, and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD and REVIT) software. This involves accurately representing the layout of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, outlets, switches, and other components.</li><li><b>Interpreting Specifications:</b>Reviewing technical specifications, and design documents to understand project requirements and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.</li><li><b>Ensuring Accuracy:</b>Checking drawings for accuracy and completeness, including dimensions, labels, and symbols.
