Engineer aircraft systems (Part145 /Part 21 J support)

DescriptionThe Aircraft Systems Engineer supports the Part-145 and Part 21J Engineering Department by providing technical engineering assistance for aircraft systems maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification activities supporting both minor and major changes to aircraft type design. The role ensures compliance with applicable airworthiness regulations, manufacturer data, and internal procedures while supporting safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and resolve technical queries arising during maintenance, defect rectification, and troubleshooting.Develop and approve engineering instructions, repair solutions, and task cards in accordance with Part-145 procedures.Provide engineering support for aircraft systems (ATA chapters including but not limited to: ATA 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 36).Review and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), IPC, SRM, WDM, TSM, Service Bulletins, ADs, and other OEM documentation.Support modifications and repairs, including preparation of engineering substantiation where required.Develop, review, and approve design data for aircraft systems modifications and repairs.Prepare and maintain certification and compliance documentation, including compliance checklists and substantiation reports.Conduct system analyses, including functional assessments and interface evaluations.Liaise with airworthiness authorities (EASA/GCAA/FAA), OEMs, and external partners on technical and certification matters.Provide technical input to maintenance planning, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support audits and inspections by aviation authorities and customers as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
