Engineer aircraft structure (Part145 /Part 21 J support)

OverviewThe Aircraft Structures Engineer provides technical engineering support for aircraft structural maintenance activities, the design, substantiation, and certification support of aircraft structural repairs and modifications. The role ensures that all structural work is performed in accordance with approved data, applicable airworthiness requirements, and company procedures, supporting safe and efficient aircraft operations.ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support for aircraft structures including fuselage, wings, empennage, flight control structures, doors, nacelles, pylons, and composite structures.Analyze and resolve structural defects and damage findings identified during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.Review and interpret SRM, AMM, IPC, CMM, Service Bulletins, ADs, and other OEM documentation.Perform structural design and certification activities in accordance with Part-21J requirements.Develop, review, and approve structural repair and modification design data.Conduct damage assessment and determine repair solutions beyond SRM limits when required.Prepare and maintain compliance documentation, substantiation reports, and certification checklists.Perform or support structural analysis (metallic and composite), including static strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance considerations, as applicable.Liaise with airworthiness authorities (EASA/GCAA/FAA), OEMs, and external partners on structural and certification matters.Support internal and external audits.#J-18808-Ljbffr
