Job Requisition ID: 174376Role PurposeSupport pharmacists in delivering safe, effective, and high‑quality pharmaceutical care to patients in line with DHA regulations and HealthHub standards. This role is essential in ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency within the pharmacy while supporting patient‑centred care.Work PatternFull‑time and part‑time opportunities available. Rostered shifts across mornings, afternoons, and evenings. 20‑40 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 working days.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including compounding, packaging, and labelling, under direct supervision.Receive, process, and accurately fill prescriptions, ensuring all physician orders are verified by a licensed pharmacist before dispensing.Maintain pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, and report shortages, near‑expiry, or expired medications.Prepare sterile IV medications and extemporaneous preparations as directed by the supervising pharmacist.Process insurance claims and billing and maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and inventory movements.Provide clear and courteous information to patients regarding medication instructions, referring complex clinical queries to the pharmacist.Ensure full compliance with pharmacy laws, DHA regulations, and internal safety protocols.Support safe handling and storage of medications, noting that controlled and semi‑controlled medications must not be dispensed by pharmacy technicians.Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and infection‑control standards within the pharmacy area.Participate in quality assurance, patient safety, and process improvement initiatives.Engage in ongoing professional development and mandatory training as required by DHA and the employer.Why Emirati Pharmacy Technicians Choose HealthHubServe your community and contribute directly to patient safety and quality care.Structured Emiratisation support with training, mentoring, and career development opportunities.Work in modern, well‑equipped clinic pharmacies across Dubai.Supportive team environment with clear supervision and learning opportunities.5‑day work week designed for balance and flexibility.Competitive salary, health and life insurance, and generous leave entitlements.A strong foundation for long‑term growth in pharmacy practice within Al‑Futtaim Health.Qualifications and DHA RequirementsEmiratization.Diploma or certificate in a Pharmacy Technician programme from an accredited institution (minimum one to two years).Valid DHA Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to be licensed in Dubai.Emiratization fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Good standing certificate from previous licensing authority, if applicable.Strong knowledge of medication names, basic medical terminology, and pharmaceutical calculations.Excellent organisational, documentation, and communication skills.Good computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy management systems.Supervision and ScopeMust work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist at all times. Not permitted to dispense narcotics, controlled, or semi‑controlled medications.
