The person will also be responsible for identifying any existing Citiblue clients who can be upgraded to Citigold, by upsizing current funding.Key Responsibilities:Jointly work with the Acquisition Head and Branch Banking Staff for identifying and acquiring Citigold new-to-bank customers, as also upgrading existing Citiblue customers to CitigoldIdentify and solicit new-to-bank Citigold customers, through internal and external channelsAssist client in opening Citigold account in U.A.E. or in an offshore location(Singapore), as per the clients individual preferenceActively promote referrals from existing clients to generate a pipeline of Citigold prospects.Upgrade existing Citiblue relationships to Citigold by upsizing current funding and deepening the relationshipConvert the leads sent by the Telesales Unit / other channels into funded Citigold AccountsActively engage with high payroll clients for conversion into funded Citigold statusOptimise funded Citigold opportunity in listed payroll companiesComplete update of 'know your client' details for the originated accountsAttract an investment client base through relationship management, both by responding to internal referrals and pro-active self-driven business developmentSpearhead any micro marketing events focused on new to bank acquisitionWork with the product team, telemarketing to identify initiatives and products that will help acquire new customers for the BankIdentifying and pursuing new clients aligned with CITI RETAIL BANK’s value proposition.Being future-focused in thinking and planning ahead for ways Citi can differentiate itself from competitorsStaying connected with influencers, industry associations, thought leaders and senior business contacts to expand industry knowledge and deepen CITI RETAIL BANK’s relationship with these partnersAssist a Citigold client in meeting any identified investment and insurance financial need by referring him to on Investment ProfessionalKeep abreast of current economic environment and capital markets, so as to have meaningful discussions with Citigold new to bank prospects and optimise acquisition effectivenessDeliver on the score card parameters for improving NTB acquisition, Client Penetration, qualified Client Manager base, profiling etc.Meet the compliance and controls standards set by the CitigroupQualifications:Foundational knowledge of CITI RETAIL BANK’s structure, strategy, product suite and target marketDemonstrates basic knowledge of Citi Risk and KYC policies and practicesDemonstrates basic knowledge of credit skills and Early Warning DetectionDemonstrates ability to build knowledge of all aspects of commercial banking including basic commercial credit knowledge and an ability to quickly learn new products and servicePassion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients and able to demonstrate innovative approaches to meeting clients’ needs.Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clientsKnowledge/Experience:3-5 years experience preferably in Direct Sales within the financial services industryEither prior experience of acquiring high-net-worth clients (Priority Banking / SME Banking) or prior experience in investment products, such as, Mutual Funds, Insurance, equity, fixed-income (bonds) will be preferred.Other Industry relevant sales experience such as real estate / Assets experience can be considered------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Consumer Sales------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Branch Sales------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Most Relevant SkillsPlease see the requirements listed above.------------------------------------------------------Other Relevant SkillsFor complementary skills, please see above and/or contact the recruiter.------------------------------------------------------Citi is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristic protected by law.If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity review Accessibility at Citi.View Citi’s EEO Policy St
