Electro Mechanical Technician

<div><p>The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for investigating, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and mechanical faults to ensure high standards of<b>plant and equipment reliability, efficiency, cleanliness, and safety</b>within an industrial manufacturing environment specialized in plastic pipes and fittings production.</p><h3>Tasks and Duties</h3><ul><li>Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance according to work priorities and maintenance schedules.</li><li>Follow company procedures, safety rules, and work instructions at all times.</li><li>Ensure electrical and mechanical breakdowns are repaired as quickly and efficiently as possible.</li><li>Investigate problems and breakdowns to ensure repairs address root causes rather than symptoms.</li><li>Maintain the workshop and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.</li><li>Ensure all oil, fluid spills, and waste are cleared immediately and disposed of properly.</li><li>Continuously seek ways to improve equipment performance, reliability, and maintenance practices.</li><li>Support and guide non-maintenance staff in basic maintenance-related activities when required.</li><li>Ensure routine maintenance activities are carried out as detailed in preventive maintenance checklists.</li><li>Advise the supervisor of any additional repair work required or spare parts needs.</li><li>Complete maintenance paperwork, reports, and job records accurately and on time.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all work performed and time spent on each task.</li><li>Be available to attend emergency breakdowns outside normal working hours when required.</li><li>Work effectively within a<b>multi-cultural industrial workforce</b>.</li><li>Carry out similar or related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills&Personal Attributes</h3><ul><li>High level of observance of<b>cleanliness and workplace discipline</b>.</li><li>Calm, patient, and safety-oriented working attitude.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and operators.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure during breakdowns and urgent maintenance situations.</li><li>Commitment to attendance, punctuality, and work discipline.</li><li>Awareness of waste reduction and efficient use of materials.</li><li>Knowledge or awareness of<b>First Aid, Fire Fighting, Emergency&Evacuation procedures</b>.</li><li>Professional appearance and compliance with company uniform requirements.</li><li>Speed and accuracy in performing maintenance tasks.</li><li>Good understanding of job task requirements and maintenance responsibilities.</li><li><b>Basic computer literacy is required</b>, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><b>Diploma in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.</b></li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li><b>Three (3) years of experience</b>in the same field within an industrial or manufacturing environment.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
