In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical components meet safety standards, code requirements, and project specifications. As a key contributor to the construction process, your work will directly impact the functionality, safety, and efficiency of the built environment. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and grow within a reputable construction organization. The ideal candidate is a reliable professional with 1–2 years of hands-on experience, a strong understanding of electrical codes, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduits, outlets, switches, and fixtures in new construction and renovation projects.Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layout and installation requirements.Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national codes (e.g., NEC) and safety regulations.Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems using multimeters, continuity testers, and other diagnostic tools.Troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve issues promptly to minimize project delays.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate electrical work with overall construction schedules.Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials in accordance with OSHA standards.Assist in preparing punch lists and ensuring all electrical components are completed to project specifications before final inspection.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred.1–2 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial construction electrical work.Valid journeyman electrician license or eligibility to obtain one within the first year of employment.In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced, on-site environments.Physical stamina to stand, climb, bend, and work at heights for extended periods.Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.Familiarity with tools such as conduit benders, wire strippers, multimeters, and cable pullers.Commitment to safety, with a history of safe work practices and adherence to OSHA guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
