Electrical Technician - Wind Energy Projects

Madre Integrated Engineering Full time Electrical Technician - Wind Energy Projects Perform installation, maintenance, andtroubleshooting of electrical systems in wind turbines.Inspect and test electrical components such as generators,transformers, converters, control panels, sensors, and cables.Diagnose electrical faults using tools such as multimeters,insulation testers, and diagnostic software.Perform preventive maintenance on electricalsystems, switchgear, and substations.Monitor turbine performance through SCADAsystems and control panels.Repair or replace electrical components including motors,relays, sensors, and wiring systems.Ensure compliance with electrical safetystandards and grid connection requirements.Support commissioning and energization activitiesduring turbine installation.Work closely with mechanical teams during turbinemaintenance operations.Maintain records of inspections, testing results,and repair activities. Requirements Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering /Electrical Technology3-7 years experience in wind turbine or power plantelectrical maintenanceKnowledge of Generators, Transformers, SCADAsystems, Electrical protection systems and High-voltage equipmentAbility to work at heights and follow electricalsafety standards
