Electrical technician

Working days : 6 days in a weekJob Description:Shall be familiar with different electrical systems, equipment and component with its fittings and material specifications.Shall be capable to trouble shoot, maintain, repair the different electrical system, equipment, and componentsHaving hand on experience in the followings:HV & LV Distribution network with voltageKnowledge of Neutral, equipment earthing system.Experience required in numerical relay protection, transformer maintenance, MV and HV cable jointing and repair, vacuum breaker maintenance, MV motor maintenance and operation and maintenance of MV motor.Experience that includes PLCs, HVAC, instrumentation, and the use of computer-based man-machine interfaces is preferred.Switching and operating experience on plant at 415 V, 6.6k V, 11 KV, 33k V and 132k V is highly desirable.Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.Switchgear, Transformer, Generator protection philosophy, and testing of protection devices.Having thorough operation & maintenance knowledge of UPS, Battery Charger, Battery Banks etc.Familiar with hand tools, fasteners, and other similar equipment.Your main duties will be ensuring and conducting the following:Maintenance tasks.Installing and performing diagnostic tests on systems.Developing and implementing maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.Troubleshooting malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.Documenting processes and maintaining service records.Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.Optimizing efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.Plant maintenance experience on HV Substations, switchboards up to 6.6k V, motors, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), thyristor rectifiers, and general plant electrical utilities are requiredSound knowledge on Permit to work & LOTO systemJob Profile:Should have Diploma / Degree in ElectricalMinimum 8 Years of experience , where 4 years into Oil & Gas or Petrochemical or power plant
